Located in Mbezi Beach-Dar es Salaam, the project was an existing two-story residential house that needed an extensive renovation to create a more functional family home with an open living space built within the original footprint. However, the challenges afforded by the original structure and limited indoor space led the design team to reconsider the overall layout of the house.
